The Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689
This is a good summary of basic Christian doctrine in many areas, and is the doctrinal statement that this site subscribes to. We believe it is good to adopt a historic statement of faith as our own, so that we have something to look back through that has been tested through waves of heresy. While it is imperfect and no substitute for scripture, it is helpful to have a systematic statement to affirm together.
